This is not the first book. The one would be the The secret of Ella and Micha and I recommend you read that one first cause you will not understand this one at all. Also I have to say stop reading because spoilers are coming.
At the end of TSEM they realized they love each other and decided to be together despite the fact that Micha is on the road touring and Ella is In Las Vegas going to school. This book about the two of them learning to trust each other more and learning if they can make it through the hard times. I like this book because of it simplicity you already know the issues now it is just working through them. There is no super villain or crazy plot just two people in love; learning how to fix themselves and love each other despite the hard life they have been living. If you want a simple quick read then i recommend this book. Beware there are quite a few sex scenes
I do not recommend this for anyone 16 and up. I felt as if the book was really simple. It is set in high school and the main character is obsessed with this fairy tale book. That is not so bad but she notices that the Prince in the story can talk to her. The concept is really neat. What happens the characters in the book after we close it? The authors could have taken is so much farther than the did. It started out good but towards the end it was like they were bored with writing and decided to end it. As an experienced author Jodi should have helped her daughter out more it felt unfinished.
This whole series drives me nut. If I wasn’t so OCD about quitting series I would have stopped a long time ago. However I have read this far and invested too much time to now know how this series ends. If you have gotten this far in the series I commend you. (round of applause)
This book continues right where it left off. We now know the bull thing is Heath’s spirit Zoey is still keeping secrets and still doesn’t know where her heart lies. Its basically the same thing as the other books. Nothing has really changed. Ok that’s a bit of a lie her alliances have changed a bit and there are so new people and some she can no longer trust but that’s about it. You can pretty much figure out the ending by chapter 5. I don’t mean to diss the book that much but its time to wrap up the series and start another.
T If you have not read the first book The Pledge please read that one first before reading this one. I will revealing a lot of what happens in that book here.
This book is about.Queen Charlie going to a summit with a bunch of other Queens. She is surrounded by a bunch strangers not knowing how to act of the proper etiquette. Plus there is someone out there trying to kill her. I guess the only way to know that things are going well is if someone is trying to kill you. Ha
I liked this book because the readers get a peek into Sabara’s history and who she was before she became a life stealing bitch. As you should know if you read the first book Sabara is not gone. She is inside Charlie’s head whispering “sweet nothings” JUST KIDDING.
I did not enjoy the ending it was very abrupt like they are talking and then all of a sudden BOOM its over. WTF it could have ended a little it different with more information. Oh well If you enjoyed the first you will like this one although it is not as great and beware there is a third book to the series.

A book :)
I am kind of on the fence about this book. I don’t what to think about it. It kind of reminded me vaguely of Beautiful Disaster.
He a player with more notches in his bedpost than a street walker and she is just the girl to tame his ways and make him fall in love. She is his “game changer” to quote him specifically.
I enjoyed the concept but I felt like the were unrealistically screwed up. Does that make sense the the author was trying to hard to make them both equally screwed up. I understand people need saving but come on. He is an abandoned player searching for love in the wrong places and She is a girl with trust issues. Not a lot of it surprised me.
I am not saying however that I was not surprised at all but ever the twist of fate seemed a little scripted.
I did enjoy it though It was a nice quick read I liked the heroine even when she made those silly little mistake. If you want a simple love story that is “bad boy taming: this is the place to start.
Warning: Do NOT proceed if you have not read the first book if you have then enjoy another review - Thank you
Smoke and Bones ending was a big WTF moment for me. Obviously she was Madrigal, Akivas lost love duh. What got me was that Akiva was responsible for killing her family and savior. It could be argued it was out of vengeance but come on what about Karou he knew it would hurt her and if he didn’t what a dummy. OK I am so getting ahead of myself lets back it up just a little bit.
I enjoyed this book way more than the first.I even read it at work when I should have been doing something work related but oh well that time has passed. If you read the first read this one. Things get more twisted than a tornado. We are introduced to more characters and we officially meet the be-header Thiago and let me say he is a real peach. (can you hear the sarcasm dripping from my voice) Just know that shit gets real and the ending will leave you guessing and wanting more.
I hope you enjoyed another one of my reviews
